This project was developed in Revit. It consisted on modeling tasks for a 6,550 sq ft private residence. Moebius worked as a Remote Collaborator to assist the Local Team in its development. One of the collaboration tasks was to refine the drawings layouts. This was achieved by following the client inputs in all matters related to information display and organization.

The base has 7 stories for parking, stores and other amenities such as pool, spa, gymnasium, coffee bar, etc. Over the base are 28 stories: 25 for standard apartments, 2 for penthouses and 1 for services. The proposal was developed for a prestigious real estate agent from Los Angeles who wanted to create a high impact landmark. Once the functional challenge of the building was solved, the envelope was study in deep. Four designs were proposed and one of them developed in deep.
The proposal is based on the exploration of different formal codes related to contemporary housing, such as minimalism, organic Architecture and rationalism.
The total living area of the house was doubled, by enlarging the second floor of the existing building, adding a new third level and digging the basement, obtaining a comfortable house with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Following Green Building principles of sustainable Architecture, special efforts were put in maximizing natural light and the energy efficiency of the house. Advanced framing techniques were used to make the most of the materials. Local technologies and recycled and recyclable materials offered in the local market were studied in deep to achieve the most accurate technical-economical answer.
17,000 sq ft mixed use building with stores at ground level and 5 stories for offices.
As requested by the client, this project should evoke the typical Architecture of a ‘50 drive-in restaurant. Our team carried out a research on this subject taking into consideration the functional distribution, esthetic and presentation style. The result was a global architectural proposal that includes the design of all the elements, from the furniture to the signage.
